Built to Last

Most pet door flaps today use a sheet of vinyl fastened rigidly across the top of the frame with screws. As the pet goes through the flap, it begins to wear. Over time, the flap will spilt, and eventually break. This is why the Endura Flap™ uses pivots, to avoid wear and breakage. As a guarantee, it is backed by a superior warranty: 15 years!
Environmentally Friendly
Most pet doors are made with PVC, or vinyl, which is very harmful to the environment. The Endura Flap™ is made using a polyolefin-based polymer (similar to material used in food storage containers), which is a non-toxic, recyclable, and safe for our environment.

Important Information about Custom Heights
Custom height patio panels are important in two situations. First, while most sliding glass door track heights accommodate the three standard door sizes we offer, some do not. In those cases, we can build a custom Quick Panel III™ to fit your specific dimension. The second situation is where you have a sideways sliding window. This is actually a miniature sliding glass door, and you can install a custom height undersize Quick Panel III™ to fit in those cases provided the window track width is at least 1″.
Remember that the Quick Panel III™ is built with a 3″ spring-loaded height adjustment. When you order in one of the custom height ranges, you will be prompted for your track height. The patio panel will be built to a height that is approximately in the middle of this 3″ range. For example, if you specify 40″, your panel will be built to adjust from about 38″ to 41″.
There are limits to the heights that we can manufacture which result from the height of the flap assembly, which is fixed, and limits to the packaging that can be shipped safely. Here are the height ranges that we can accommodate:

Frosted Glass Option
If you prefer, your patio pet door panel may be special ordered with frosted (bathroom) glass. This option enables you to partially open your drapes for access to the pet door without losing privacy. Frosted glass is a final sale, no return option, and requires an extra 3 to 4 weeks to ship because the glass is custom ordered.

1 step-over is the height of the flap above the base of the pet door.We suggest that ‘flap height’ + ‘step-over’ should about equal pet shoulder height. Unlike any other panel pet door on the market, the Thermo Panel IIIe can be adjusted by the user to the step-over dimensions shown in 2″ increments.
